Hours of operation: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

 

The Clerk shall be the chief accountant of the City and shall maintain a system of accounts which shall conform to such uniform system as may be required by state law.

 

The Clerk shall also be the Clerk of the Commission and shall attend all meetings of the Commission and shall keep a permanent journal of its proceedings. In the event of the Clerk’s absence from any regular or special meeting of the Commission, the Mayor shall appoint a recording secretary for that meeting from among those persons present at said meeting.

 

Other duties, in part of the City Clerk:

Prepares and collects utility (water, sewer, waste collection, recycling) charges incurred by City residents and businesses at rates established by the City Commission.

Enforces the City Water Service Shut-Off Policy.

The Clerk's office is the hub of City Government. The inner workings of this department are what makes your City function inthe most efficient way possible. This department has seen may changes in the last year. It has flourished and grown with our Community along with providing state of the art technology.
